Contact your local library about opportunities to serve.
Your library is a great place to share your talents and give back to the community. Though employment opportunities are very limited and paid positions are rare, opportunities to volunteer do exist, and it is a fantastic way to help support the library. Contact your local library about volunteer opportunities or fill out and drop off a an application to volunteer.
Opportunities to serve also exist at your local Friends of the Library. Ask your local library about information on the Friends.
