FRIENDS ADVOCATE for LIBRARY
The Piedmont Regional Library System which serves Banks, Barrow and Jackson counties sent two representatives to the Capitol on January 26. The Georgia Council of Public Libraries coordinates a “Varsity Hot Dog Day” annually to give public library advocates from across the state a chance to talk with legislators…and enjoy a hot dog or two! In addition, Friends of GA Libraries President Kathy Ash also talked with Representative Terry England about the importance of public libraries.
