BRASELTON LIBRARY
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
The summer reading program encourages children and families to read all summer long, wherever your journeys take you! You can read books from the library or from home. Pre-readers participate by having others read to them. When older children read to younger ones, they both get credit for the book!
WHO IS IT FOR?
Children from birth to age 18
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Log your reading in Beanstack or pick up a paper log from your local library to start tracking your reading. Prizes are earned by completing the required number of points in Beanstack or bubbles in the log!
1 Book = 1 point/bubble OR 20 minutes of reading = 1 point/bubble
Young children and pre-readers may want to count books, while chapter book readers may want to count time.
Level 1 -- 25 points: Receive a book tote with a coloring book
Level 2 -- 50 points: Receive a T-shirt and a choice of book
Anyone who reaches the highest level of our summer reading program will be entered to win our grand prize
