THE BANKS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

The Banks County Public Library seeks customer-service oriented applicants for a part-time Library Services position. This

position is scheduled 18 hours weekly and will work days, some evenings and weekends. Library Services employees are responsible for providing checkout, information, and support for library patrons of all ages. This includes providing reader’s advisory, computer assistance, shelving books, and other duties as assigned. This person is often the patron’s first contact for library service.

Qualified applicants will have public library or retail experience. High school diploma required. Must be willing and able to get passport agent certified (at least 18, no convictions of crimes involving moral turpitude, and pass the exam) within the first 30 days of hire. Hourly wage will be $12.00.

THE CITY OF NICHOLSON IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

The City of Nicholson seeks customer-service-oriented applicants for a part-time Library Services position for 32 hours per week at the Nicholson Public Library. Starting pay $14.00 per hour, and will include access to full benefits and accrues paid time off. Library Services staff will work some Saturdays and evenings.

 

Library Services positions are responsible for providing checkout, information, and support for library patrons of all ages. This includes providing reader’s advisory, computer assistance, shelving books, and other duties as assigned. This person is often the patron’s first contact for library service.

 

Qualified applicants will have public library or retail experience. High school diploma required, some college preferred. The City will consider other combinations of education and experience. Must be willing and able to get passport agent certified (at least 18, no convictions of crimes involving moral turpitude, and pass the exam) within the first 30 days of hire.
